As the Technical Legal Assistance Attorney for Immigrant Connection, Rachel provides technical legal assistance to equip the Immigrant Connection Legal Network with the knowledge, tools, and expertise required to navigate the complexities of immigration law and procedure. As supervising attorney, Rachel provides specialized guidance in areas such as: Family-Based Immigration, Adjustment of Status, Citizenship and Naturalization, Humanitarian Relief (VAWA, U, T, Asylum, TPS, SIJS, DACA), Inadmissibility, Deportability, Waivers, and Ethics and Practice Management.
Rachel is also currently the Director of Legal Services with Exodus Refugee Immigration, Inc., an adjunct professor of law at IU McKinney School of law, and serving as the Vice Chair for the Indiana chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Rachel has been in practice for over 10 years and has presented many times on the areas of Immigration and Immigrant rights. Rachel is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.
