Emily Tellez serves as Immigrant Connection’s Church Partnership Coordinator, where she empowers churches to take next steps in saying yes to God’s call to radical love and hospitality. She assists with outreach, communication, and coordination of church partnerships across the network. Emily plays a vital role in maintaining relationships with potential church partners, engaging new congregations, and ensuring faith communities have the tools and guidance needed to participate effectively in immigrant ministry.

In addition to her national role, Emily is a DOJ Accredited Representative serving immigrant families at Immigrant Connection Mosaic in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is also a pastor and adjunct professor of ministry studies at the University of Northwestern–St. Paul. With a background in counseling, ministry, and education, she is passionate about equipping people to live fully into God’s calling. Emily is married to Juan Carlos and together they are raising four awesome teenagers.
