National Director of Site Operations

(Full-Time | Remote | Regular Travel)

Immigrant Connection is seeking a National Director of Site Operations to provide national leadership, coaching, operational oversight, and accountability for the leadership, systems, sustainability, and organizational health of the Immigrant Connection Legal Network’s Local IC Sites.

Immigrant Connection (IC) is a national nonprofit immigration legal services network committed to expanding access to trusted immigration legal services across the United States. Through a growing network of Local IC Legal Sites, DOJ Accredited Representatives, attorneys, host churches and organizations, and national support systems, IC helps immigrant families receive trusted legal support with dignity, excellence, and care.

This role will lead and oversee the systems that form, equip, support, and hold accountable Site Directors and local site leadership teams. While the position carries significant responsibility and requires both strategic leadership and hands-on operational involvement, the National Director of Site Operations will not be building this work alone. Rather, this person will work alongside an existing national team while providing direction, coordination, coaching, and accountability for the operational health of Local IC Sites.

The National Director of Site Operations will serve as the primary national leader for Site Director development, site operational readiness, site health, organizational compliance, and long-term sustainability. The right candidate will be able to coach and develop leaders, build systems, create curriculum and practical resources, assess organizational health, guide sites through growth and transition, address operational concerns, and help Local IC Sites remain healthy, aligned, and capable of serving immigrant families well.

Key areas of leadership include:

Developing, coaching, and supporting Site Directors and local site leadership teams
Building Site Director onboarding, training, leadership development, and ongoing formation pathways
Creating site operations curriculum, policies, procedures, templates, tools, and implementation resources
Leading the site and organizational side of DOJ recognition and renewal preparation
Monitoring site health, sustainability, reporting, operational compliance, and host organization alignment
Conducting regular site visits, evaluations, coaching conversations, and documented follow-up
Identifying operational concerns early and leading improvement plans, corrective action, and accountability processes
Strengthening required systems related to client flow, administration, supervision, reporting, staffing, and office operations
Using site data and health indicators to guide support, intervention, training, and strategic planning
Collaborating across IC National’s Legal, Partnerships, Finance, Operations, Communications, and Executive Leadership teams
Building scalable Site Operations systems that support consistency, accountability, and long-term network growth

Qualified candidates should have significant leadership experience in nonprofit, ministry, business, community development, legal services, church-based, multi-site, franchise, network-based, and/or scaling organizational environments. Candidates should demonstrate experience coaching leaders, developing teams, building operational systems, creating training and resources, managing organizational change, and helping leaders or organizations navigate growth, transition, or accountability.

Experience working with local churches, faith-based organizations, community-based legal service programs, multi-site businesses, franchise models, or the operational team of a growing organization is strongly preferred. Candidates should also bring excellent relational, communication, facilitation, conflict-resolution, writing, documentation, and project-management skills.

This is a remote, full-time exempt position with regular monthly travel for Local IC Site visits, trainings, conferences, staff meetings, partner gatherings, and national events. Because this role supports leaders and sites across the country, occasional evening or adjusted-hour availability may be required.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
